THE PATH OF CHANGE
A war on
memory itself.

“I do not remember how many of these recordings I have made.
Hymedall, The Watcher
Just know my old friend, I regret it all.”
Vaelios Prime, the Hollow World, is approaching the Milky Way.
Inside it, abducted peoples believe they have always been home. From the Hollow Throne, Queen Vaelrith rewrites histories, erases bloodlines and makes her version of the past feel true.
Aboard The Ghistil, Master Aikedu, his young apprentice Zarkeeth and the counsellor Mel’ra’ak remain protected from the changes. Beyond the ship, that protection ends. To act, they must enter a galaxy that is forgetting what it has lost.

Read a passage from Chapter One
On a mining station near the outer rim, a man watched the transmission beside his brother. When it ended, he turned to speak. But he could not remember who stood next to him. He frowned. Not because he had forgotten. Because something told him he shouldn’t have. His hand moved instinctively, reaching out to where someone had been standing moments ago. It met nothing. “…what was I saying?” He looked down at the ground between them.
Two sets of footprints. One already fading. His chest tightened. Not fear. Something worse. A question with no shape. Then it slipped. Gone. And the silence made sense again.
